Education in Human Rights Training, CNTM
I have spent an amazing time at this latest Human Rights training organized by CNTM. It took place on 13-19 October in Vadul lui Voda as usual. It was great, I really enjoyed it.
There were 30 participants that were representing different organizations. Each was working in a certain domain, but all together fighting for human rights protection.
The main idea was to create an educational training, with seminars, games and practical work, based on COMPASS manual. And I may say that the goal was easily reached.
At the beginning I thought that a week is too much for a training, but at the end it was not enough. We became friends with everyone, and had a lot of fun together. + I would like to mention the fact of non-formal education which is a great thing.
So we were having seminars and discussions with different guests, moldavian lawyers for example, like Ion Guzun and others. There was a meeting with representatives of several NGO's, Amnesty International Moldova, Roma Center, Minister of Justice and CNTM. There also came a representative from EU youth center.
We had a lot of games and simulations of real human rights violations. We had the opportunity to share our own experience about human rights violations that we had to face. Some people were telling really scary stories, but which happened to them, very emotional and difficult moments.
I hope everyone learned a lot of useful things from this training. I would like to thank the organizers of the training - Vera and Meg, Ruxandra, Lina Acalugaritei, Andrei Lutenco, Natalia Cojohari.
At the end we have received diplomas and other stuff, plus the COMPASS manual and we have also created the multiplicatori group.
